I've gotten spooked a little running alone overnight during races, but for those you always have the aid stations to bring you back to reality and refocus you. It was for the most part peaceful, but also kinda creepy and eerie at times.Beast Coast Trail Runninghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15958417394273622384noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4833727365753660817.post-14761672232150603472020-10-12T16:24:01.733-07:002020-10-12T16:24:01.733-07:00Congrats again Scott on your FKT!! It was in reality my first time doing the entire Batona, and I ran with a group for the majority of the time. More like a fun run. And we still went off course a couple times!! Can't imagine the loneliness, or was it solitude? Most of my 100's were ran by myself but there were aid stations, and a well marked course. And the Batona got a bit eerie at night. Thought the devil might pop out but just some howling from the coyotes. Again, congrats on your accomplishment!! Glad to see you made it to the list!! Legitimately a local legend now!!AJ Johnsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10584683290150005555noreply@blogger.com
